Shot Clock Violation
End of 1st Quarter-Referees Ken Mauer Brian Forte and Ed Malloy communicated with the Replay Center to determine whether or not the field goal make at the 4.9 mark in the quarter by the Wizards Drew Gooden was released prior to time expiring on the shot clock. Initially the shot was ruled to have been released too late and after the review the call was upheld.
