NEW YORK, Feb. 14, 2024 – Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has been fined $35,000 for directing an inappropriate and unprofessional gesture toward a game official, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred with 3:58 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Hawks’ 136-126 loss to the Chicago Bulls on February 12 at State Farm Arena.
