NEW YORK, March 2, 2022 – Indiana Pacers forward-center Jalen Smith has been fined $20,000 for directing profane language toward a game official, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations.

The incident occurred following Smith’s ejection with 7:04 remaining in the third quarter of the Pacers’ 119-103 loss to the Orlando Magic on Feb. 28 at Amway Center.
