QUESTION: “Why was Kyle Lowry assessed a Flagrant 1, in the fourth quarter?” 

MOTT: “As Donte (DiVincenzo) was driving to the basket, Kyle, in an effort to swing at the ball, he swung up, hitting Donte in the face.  We deemed the contact unnecessary it was not excessive which would have been a Flagrant Foul Penalty 2.  A Flagrant Foul Penalty 1 is unnecessary, we deemed that contact to the head as unnecessary.”
