QUESTION: At the end of overtime, with 0.3 seconds to go in OT, a replay review happened that was later deemed to be an accidental review. Why was a review conducted that was not asked for?

CAPERS: There was a miscommunication amongst the officials, and we thought when [Nurse] called the timeout that he wanted to challenge the play.

QUESTION: Okay, so it was assumed that that Nurse had asked for it when he called the timeout, or just how did that miscommunication occur?

CAPERS: It was a visual, I thought he wanted to challenge the play.

QUESTION: The accidental review initially changed the time to 1.1 seconds at the end of overtime, was there a reason why the time would only be checked with a review?

CAPERS: Because we did not have a legal challenge, we therefore could not go by what we saw on the challenge. Prior to that, the foul was committed with .3 on the clock.

QUESTION: How or when was it determined that that miscommunication between Nurse and your crew had happened?

CAPERS: [Nurse] came out of the timeout and said he did not challenge the play.

QUESTION: At the end of regulation, it looked like Nurse was trying to call a timeout from the bench with about two seconds left why was he not granted a timeout?

CAPERS: Because with the mad scramble for the ball and then Paul George getting it and heaving a last second shot, the timeout was never recognized.
