QUESTION: What constituted the change from the two-shot foul to the three-shot foul?

BROTHERS: The call on the floor was a two-shot foul. We conferenced and had definite knowledge that he (Cade Cunningham) was in his upward shooting motion at the time the foul occurred. That’s why it was changed to a three-shot foul versus a two-shot foul.

QUESTION: Was that something you saw or something you went to video to see that he was in a shooting motion?

BROTHERS: No, that was something I saw.

QUESTION: So, there was no video review?

BROTHERS: When the foul actually occurred, the clock had stopped. When we got ready to put the ball back in play, the clock had gone to zero. So we went to replay for a clock malfunction, not to see whether it was a foul or not. And then, we got the time the foul occurred and put that time back on the clock.

QUESTION: So, it was your judgement call that it was a three-shot foul?

BROTHERS: He was in his shooting motion.

QUESTION: Being the crew chief, did you tell the other official who made the call?

BROTHERS: No, we conferenced, and between the three of us, we came up with that it was a three-shot foul.
