QUESTION: Why wasn’t the foul on Damian Lillard with 3.7 seconds left ruled a shooting foul?

BROTHERS: Because the contact occurred prior to the upward shooting motion.

QUESTION: Why was Amen Thompson’s fourth-quarter foul on Giannis Antetokounmpo ruled a flagrant?

BROTHERS: Because the contact to the head was both unnecessary and excessive and by rule that’s a flagrant foul penalty two.
