POOL REPORT ON THE FOUL CALLED WITH THREE-TENTHS OF A SECOND LEFT IN OVERTIME DURING TONIGHT’S SUNS AT BUCKS GAME.

INTERVIEW CONDUCTED BY JIM OWCZARSKI (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL) WITH CREW CHIEF RODNEY MOTT FOLLOWING TONIGHT’S PHOENIX SUNS AT MILWAUKEE BUCKS GAME

April 19, 2021

Question: What was the foul called initially on the floor with three-tenths left in overtime of a second half?

Mott: “The foul called on the floor was P.J. Tucker with his right arm hitting [Devin] Booker on his left elbow during his shooting motion.”

Question: What was determined via replay review of the final foul call with three-tenths of a second left?

Mott: “Upon review it was determined the illegal contact made by P.J. Tucker occurred prior to the expiration of time.  Therefore, because the clock ran to zeros, we put three-tenths of a second back on the clock.”
