NBA Crew Chief Courtney Kirkland met with pool reporter Kelly Iko from the Athletic after the game between the Rockets and Pistons today in Houston. Here is the transcript of that interview:

Question: What was said or done to assess the two technical fouls given to P.J. Tucker?

Courtney Kirkland: The first technical foul was assessed to Tucker for his use of profanity towards Ben Taylor.  He walked to him aggressively; Taylor assessed the first technical foul.  He stayed there patiently and then Tucker continued to use progressive profanity towards him in a very aggressive manner. That’s what the two technical fouls were for and he was ejected after that.
