NBA Crew Chief Ed Malloy met with pool reporter Andy Larsen of KSL.com after the game between the Heat and Jazz in Salt Lake City tonight. Here is the transcript of that interview:

Question: Why was a review not conducted to check the clock once the Jazz gained possession and called a timeout with 3.9 seconds remaining?

Malloy: “Yeah, we don’t have a trigger that allows us to look to see if a timeout occurs prior to the expiration of a shot clock.”
