NBA Crew Chief Jason Phillips met with pool reporter Kristie Rieken of the Associated Press after the game between the Clippers and Rockets in Houston tonight. Here is the transcript of that interview:

Question 1: What led to Austin Rivers’ ejection?

Phillips: Austin drives to the basket; feels that he gets fouled on the play and then after finishing the play, makes contact while using profanity… makes contact with official (J.T.) Orr and is ejected immediately on one technical foul.
Question 2: What led to Doc Rivers’ ejection?

Phillips: During the timeout, Doc is complaining about the play that Austin gets ejected on and during that complaint, he uses extreme profanity directed at the officials and so therefore he is ejected on one technical foul also.
