Q: Why was Russell Westbrook assessed the technical foul in the first quarter?

A: So they’re (Oklahoma City) bringing the ball in to the frontcourt and they request a timeout, which is granted.  Instead of Russell (Westbrook) giving the ball to the nearest official, he throws it in the area where Tre (Maddox) is and Tre is not looking.  The ball hits him in the face, so that is a technical foul.

Q: Who charged him with the technical foul?

A: Brent (Barnaky) actually charged him with the foul first.
